About Me

Education

Educational History:

I graduated from Bovina High School in 1988 and began college at WTAMU in Canyon, Texas. I attended WTAMU for two and a half years majoring in Elementary Education. In 2005, when our children were all school age, I was given the opportunity to work as an Instructional Aide at Bushland Elementary. A few years later in 2010, I returned to colllege and completed my education degree while continuing to work. I graduated from WTAMU with an EC-6 ESL, Generalist Degree in May 2013.  

Family Information:

I am blessed to be married to a diligent, hard working provider, Shane.  We raised 5 children who are now all adults. Our oldest daughter and her husband have 3 children, and our second oldest daughter and her husband have 2 children. Our youngest three children have graduated college and are all working full time jobs. We love spending time together, but our visits are spaced throughout the year as we are living in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. My grandma name is “Marmee”! Anyone know where that name comes from?

Personal Information:

My hobbies include reading God’s word, gardening, sewing, scrapbooking, and spending time with my family.
